Job Summary:
The Harvard Maintenance, Inc. Director of Business Development is responsible for new sales growth including generating new sales leads, garnering and managing client relationships and assuring the highest level of value to the client. This position will work with all internal stakeholders to ensure high-level, consistent service to clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate in the development of the strategic sales initiativesWork directly with Executive Leadership and Sales and Marketing team to strategize and develop new business plansAchieve annual sales and profit objectives for regionObtain new business, cultivate existing relationships and exceed regional sales budgetDevelop and present sales presentations to prospective and current clients to demonstrate Harvard’s experience and qualificationsEstablish positive and long-term client relationships through prospecting and conducting meetings with clientsBecome knowledgeable on current clients in order to renegotiate expiring contractsDevelop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clientsProvide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and regional management activitiesClose new business opportunitiesResponsible for coordinating quarterly sales and revenue reviews with leadershipMaintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends and Harvard servicesAttend conferences and trade shows as required Knowledge and Skill Requirements Minimum of (5) years industry sales experienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceProven and documented track record of winning business. Must be able to demonstrate a history of competitive wins within the industryExceptional client focus skills and superior presentation skillsAbility to present and influence customer and internal managementExcellent leadership skills that foster teamwork and ability to build cross-functional relationships CompensationHarvard is offering a competitive salary structure including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
