Director of Business Development
Description We are in search of a Director of Business Development to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves business development, community involvement, and member service. You will be working closely with various departments to identify opportunities, implement tactics, and track results, with a primary focus on the Baltimore area. Responsibilities: • Build and manage long-term relationships with strategic partners in the community, including memberships on local boards and committees. • Assist branch managers, financial educators, and other employees in engaging in their local community activities. • Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, detailing tactics and measurable outcomes for growth. • Solicit new business partners for the company's various programs. • Manage workplace enrollments and special event participation that provide opportunities for the company to connect with prospective new members. • Act as a liaison and advisor to branch managers to create new business development strategies and tactics for their individual markets. • Work with the marketing team to develop messaging strategies for existing and prospective business partners. • Identify community involvement opportunities and determine which are the most appropriate and beneficial to pursue. • Provide a constant flow of feedback from community and business leaders to the company leadership. • Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role • Proven track record in Business Development • Comprehensive understanding of Financial Services • Experience in Community Outreach initiatives • Strong Networking abilities • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
