OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

The Director of Business Development for Agency with Choice (AwC) is responsible for driving growth and securing new business opportunities for this service model

(Also known as a co-employment model). The Director of Business Development for AwC develops and executes strategic plans to attract key funding partners, stakeholders and potential clients. The Director will lead initiatives to enhance the visibility of Acumen as well as this service model. They are responsible for fostering relationships and promoting the AwC model as an additional option of service that Acumen provides. As a representative of the company, the Director is responsible for presenting the company positively to

current and potential customers.

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the AwC modelIdentify and pursue opportunities for growth within new and existing markets where Acumen provides F/EA servicesIdentify and establish relationships with potential partners, including healthcare providers, community organizations and government agenciesManage initial contracts, expansions and contract outcomes to ensure complianceWork closely with marketing and sales teams to develop campaigns and materials that drive program growth and client acquisitionLead and mentor a team that is aligned with Acumen’s vision and missionAssist with recruitment, onboarding and training of staff within the AwC teamRepresent the best interests of Acumen and the clients served when interacting with all stakeholdersPerform all other job-related duties as assignedALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly.Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelor’s degree in related fieldTravel 50%+Industry experience in delivering the Agency with Choice model (co-employer) Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company’s products and servicesPossesses knowledge of competitive marketsSales/Implementation/Operations experiencePossesses strong persuasive abilitiesExhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skillsDemonstrates ability to think creativelyExhibits familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and OutlookCommunicates clearly and effectivelyDemonstrates solid motivational and leadership skillsMaintains a professional but confident and outgoing demeanorCan conduct independent researchExcellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skillsA high standard of integrity and sound business ethicsAble to occasionally work other than typical work hours to meet high volume demands
