Quality Health Pharmacy (QHP), a for-profit division of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, began out of our Texas Center in 1992, and due to the needs of our more than 14 centers across the nation, we are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our Pharmacy team. Under the direction of the Vice President for Pharmacy, you will lead our Pharmacy Team to develop a go-to market strategy for our pharmacies, participate in sales outreach and presentations, executing service contracts for new accounts and oversee new business onboarding and account management. Reporting to Devereux’s Vice President for Pharmacy, the Director of Business Development will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. This position will require up to 50% travel. Based on our pharmacy locations, currently located in Texas, Florida and New Jersey, this position prefers someone residing on the east coast of the United States. This position will be paying in a range of $80k to $130k commensurate with experience plus sales performance incentive. In this role you will:
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.
Develop and maintain internal work and standard operating procedures and provide project leadership from visualization to inception enhancing existing programs and participating in the creation of new opportunities.Encourage innovative ideas and new ways of doing things, while addressing difficult issues.Assist in the creation and implementation of an onboarding program for internal and external business, ensuring program quality and minimizing program risk.Proactively monitor and analyze ongoing financial performance and manage budget targets.Provide leadership in the effective management of staff, departmental goals and creating a positive atmosphere.Interested in advancing your career? QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or experience in business development; Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development preferred.Pharmacy sales experience required.Must have strong Excel and Analytic skills and familiarity with computers including Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, as well as, Crystal Reports and SQL; Experience managing social media and website content required.Strong customer service/professional demeanor skills and collaborator with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Requires ability to analyze information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information regarding individuals, and intellectual property.Ability to see the big picture and “connect the dots,” while working independently and also collaborating with leadership, system owners, and center services to meet established deadlines, and identify and prioritize multiple tasks to assure timely completion.
