We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team at MMC Corporate This role will be based in New York, NY. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Director of Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our business intelligence and analytics strategy across Finance, Real Estate, BRM and Technology. This role will oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions that provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, a passion for leveraging data to inform strategic decisions, and the ability to lead a team of analysts and data scientists. This role will focus on the development and enhancement of BIA data infrastructure in cloud services to support scalable analytics tools and dashboards. This will a key role that will help to expand the BI&A across more functions and mature on the journey.
We will count on you to:
Develop and execute a comprehensive BI and analytics strategy aligned with the respective function’s goals and objectives.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather insights, foster a data-driven culture, and provide training and support to stakeholders.
Regularly review and refine the strategy based on evolving business needs and emerging trends in analytics to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers, data architects and data analysts.
Actively engage in coaching and mentoring to enhance the professional growth of team members, facilitating skill development through training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement by promoting best practices in data management, analytics, and engineering.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong proficiency in multiple BI tools – Databricks, Power BI /Qlik, Azure/AWS, Oracle, Python. Domain knowledge in Finance is preferred.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $152,600 to $305,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
