As we move forward with the transformation of our internal operations there are opportunities for significant, and transformational operational change.  The Director, Business Operations in the newly established Innovation organization is a key senior leader driving our overall transformation efforts to deliver the expected business outcomes. This leader will have the gravitas to rapidly establish credibility while delivering a solid program management model to oversee various innovation engagements with our lead customers and partners working directly with Strategic Business Development Unit, the Innovation Engineering Unit as well as various technical staff residing in BU API unit. A spirit of collegiality, camaraderie, and collaboration is of significant importance in this highly visible position created to drive results. 

What you will do:

Effectively track and report progress on various innovation engagements in flight. This includes having detailed clarity on the stage of the engagement, achievements, risks, issues requiring urgent resolution, following up on action items, etc.  Maintain and report on ASP and partner funnel in consideration for innovation engagement Oversee cost management of the CINO unit - i.e. track cost against budget allocation Own and lead all reporting activities to the Transformation Office - i.e., update milestone progress against all CINO initiatives  Build strong relationships with all stakeholders and foster cooperation, coordination and communication across the organization Prepare executive level presentations for internal meetings to reflect status of the program Flexibility in approach of working styles to bridge between functions, Ericsson and Vonage and across time zones. Continually and proactively assess the process and include feedback from key stakeholders to optimize.

Exceptional problem solving and collaboration skills, with an appreciation of the need to operationalize and  implement best practices, solve problems and deliver on commitments An ability to develop collaborative, cross-functional relationships and work in a matrixed organization A unique balance of understanding strategy, program management with a firm understanding of innovation engagement framework. Ability to work through complex situations in a matrixed environment. 15+ years experience in program management for software or high-tech industry.  Must be highly organized, results driven and have executive presence.
