Job Description:

The Role

The Director of Campus Engagement supports designing & delivering best in class programs to increase student engagement. The role works within a cross-functional, customer-focused team that is dedicated to serving higher education organizations and supporting their students by providing financial education, resources and digital tools. The senior manager supports relationships with clients, addressing any questions or concerns, and shares feedback with business partners.

This is a tremendous opportunity to work collaboratively, support in developing strategies and deliver effective multi-channel programs that lead to utilization of the offering, while meeting the goals of both the client and Fidelity! Approximately 35% travel is required.

This job is fully remote and ideal for candidates within commuting distance to Northeastern US with a preference of MA, RI and NH.

The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's Degree with FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses required within 90 days of hire12 + years experience in communications and/or financial services preferredOrganization, attention to detail, problem-solving skillsConsistent record of combining executive presence and a strategic business perspectiveAnalyzes sophisticated issues, synthesize key points, and effectively communicate information appropriate for executive business decision-makingA resourceful communicator practiced in creating executive-ready materials and messaging across all mediums; email, phone, in-person, video conference, etc.Great at building and maintaining healthy relationships with clients/leaders at all levels of the organizationAnalyzes complex problems culminating in the build and delivery of quality solutionsConsistently recognized for your personal initiative, timeliness, follow through, and ability to implementHandles the creation and deployment of communications related to the student offering and associated Fidelity products and servicesEnsures regulatory mailings are set up and distributed in adherence with FINRA and DOL requirementsUncovers plan-level opportunities by reviewing data from various internal sources and turning those data points into a cohesive story with clear actionable stepsLiaises between our marketing team and the client to ensure our marketing campaigns are understood and agreed to prior to distributionEnsures strong client satisfaction through the seamless execution of effective communications strategies based upon client needs and goalsRecommends and responds to client inquiries quickly with answers that go beyond the stated needParticipates in or leads client meetings to review communication requirements, deliverables, negotiate deadlines, and review budget implicationsMeasures and reports successes/opportunities based on the results of our communicationsEstimates cost of projects and bill for our services (when applicable) along with managing invoices and other payments for events/activitiesResearches in and out of category at the individual campus level to ensure a deep knowledge of the uniqueness of each campus and how to show up in a meaningful way with engagement strategies on campusProvides onsite support of student programming as neededCollaborates with team members on ideation, development and execution of on campus programing to increase student engagement, drive acquisition, and deepen relationships with key contacts at the UniversitySupports sales and relationship management team members on client needs such as invoicing, budget tracking, out of home production event and traveling planningThe Team

TEM ( Tax -Exempt Market) provides retirement plan services to benefits leaders and their employees at not-for-profit organizations (i.e., healthcare systems, colleges & universities). Our dedicated business unit includes client-facing associates (i.e., relationship managers, communications consultants, financial planners), an analytics team and product developers.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
