Overview The Campus Director will have overall responsibility for the orderly functioning and seamless operations of Gallagher’s global headquarters campus located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The Global HQ Campus includes 2 occupied buildings consisting of 386,000 rsf with 1,900 total seats nestled over a groomed property of 43 total acres. The Director of Campus Operations manages reception, concierge, facilities, engineering and occupancy/move management. In addition, the Director will manage outsourced relationships for the café, fitness club and janitorial contract services. How you'll make an impact Concierge and Reception - Oversee concierge manager and a staff of three; Facilities - Oversee facilities manager, who manages the mailroom, shipping room and facilities services staff of seven; Engineering - Oversee assistant chief engineer and a staff of two; Space Planning and Move Coordination - Oversee the Move Coordinator to manage adds/moves/changes to 1,800 seats on Campus via ProLease software tool; Project Management and Planning - Plan and manage various construction projects within Campus, including developing budgets for all aspects (design, construction, furniture, equipment, security) ESG Management - Continue with Gallagher’s carbon neutral goals including LEED certification process and other sustainability initiatives on Campus Gym Gallagher – On Site Fitness Center - Oversee gym manager and coordinate via an outside service Janitorial & Cleaning Services - Assist Facilities Manager to manage day and evening housekeeping staff of 20+ Gallagher Café and Event Catering Services - Assist Concierge Manager with daily café operations, catering meetings and catering evening events on Campus Campus Physical Security - Daily coordination and support of Gallagher Global Security including monthly and quarterly meetings. General Responsibilities: Provide regular updates to key senior leadership including CEO/Chairman and CFO Respond promptly and graciously to requests for special services Secure and manage delivery of key services such as landscaping, snow removal, goose remediation, building repairs, including RFP of bids, contracts and invoice payment review. Ensure compliance with all local, regional and federal environmental, safety and security protocols Prepare and manage annual campus operations budget of $20M, including review and submittal to finance Provide leadership and building occupants with updates on for repairs, maintenance, service outages and scheduled shutdowns About You Required: High School Diploma; Minimum 6 years of experience in facilities management, preventative maintenance, vendor management and project management. Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
