Karsun Solutions is looking for a Director of Capture to provide strategic leadership within the growth organization. The Capture Director will provide leadership in all aspects of capture (process, strategy, planning/execution, etc.) and will also lead individual captures as needed. The Capture Director should have a proven ability to secure customer meetings with key customers and stakeholders. The Capture Director will lead a team of direct reports (at the Manager level) in order to execute multiple concurrent capture pursuits while ensuring consistent progress on all capture swimlanes (solution development, staffing, key personnel, corporate experience/ past performance, and price). Capture Leadership – Lead capture teams to execute winning capture strategies, develop win themes and tailored value propositions, negotiate teaming agreements, and ensure progress on solution development Growth Strategy – Support senior executives in developing growth plans to achieve corporate bookings and revenue goals Hands-on Capture – Lead key pursuits personally Proposal Support – working with proposal managers to help coordinate proposal schedules, schedule reviews, develop compliance matrices, etc. Required: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information technology or related field Minimum of 10 years of Business Development and/or Capture experience Ability to think strategically about identifying and winning key opportunities and developing detailed plans to execute on those strategies Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams (BD/Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, Solution Architects, Delivery Leads, etc.) Ability to secure meetings with key client decision makers in a timely fashion Ability to convey Karsun’s value proposition and position the company as the premier IT Modernization Experts Ability to quickly resolve and/or deconflict any issues that arise during capture Ability to work on-the-go at various client sites, industry events, conferences, etc. Located in the DC Metro area or adjacent state with ability to participate in DC located activities as required Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required Preferred: US citizenship (due to potential clearance requirement) DC Metro location Existing relationships with decision makers across the civilian sector Active involvement with industry associations (e.g. AFCEA, ACT-IAC) Experience with Information technology (IT) – specifically Agile Development, Cloud Solutions, and Data Solutions #LI-SR1 #GROWTH In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
