Director of Case Ready/Value Added-Imports Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Director to oversee our Case Ready and Value Added Programs in our Import division for JBS here in Greeley, CO! This person will be responsible for operational elements for case ready and value added programs in the North American marketplace. Responsibilities:Lead JBS and third party co-packer selection and relationship management including agreements and contracts.Investigate and implement continuous improvement with co-packing partners; operational processes, system flow, technology, communication, resources.Manage supply chain optimization and analysis; costings, operational support, specifications, yields.Provide support to sales team with pricing scenarios for long and short term opportunities.QA management for case ready and value added programs. Build and manage appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across supply chain elements including inspection/auditing, critical control points, dispute resolution and claims with customers/co-packers/raw material suppliers.Support sales team with customer interaction by providing technical advice.Work in collaboration with sales team to identify opportunities with customers in the retail and foodservice channels for case ready programs and value added products.Investigate and recommend capital expenditure required to achieve continuous improvement goals above and beyond co-packer commitments.Support annual budget process with detailed targets based on supply chain optimization in case ready and value added programs.Develop and maintain reports on case ready program financial performance for period, quarterly, and annual reportingOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Agriculture and or Marketing preferred; or experience in lieu of degree.7+ years of expereince in a senior level or director position within the industry strongly preferredStrong work ethic, ability to work under pressure and independently formulate solutions to complex supply chain issues.Strong ability to connect and communicate with multiple entities; raw material supplier stakeholders, co-packers, internal sales/logistics/admin staff, customers, service providers.Knowledge and experience with case ready manufacturing, procedures, technology in international markets.Ability to travel-50%-70%Technical meat knowledge and food manufacturing expereince is required.Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
