What you will be doing: You will be the primary social catering sales person for our 464 room hotel with 17,000 square feet of function space, serving as a crucial member of the hotel sales team. In this role, you will promote the hotel to prospective clients, sell, upsell and negotiate, prepare proposals and contracts, and remain dedicated to helping our guests create memorable experiences!
As the Director of Catering you will play a key role in forecasting, menu development, leading the Food and Beverage Sales and Conference Services team to drive revenue, execute flawless events, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role involves managing the sales and event related functions, including meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events while maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
What you should bring to the table: A passion for excellent guest service, prior high volume hotel catering sales experience, a high energy level, excellent communication, sales and negotiation skills, plus a keen attention to detail.
