We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Catering to lead our exceptional Events team at our iconic Palace on the beautiful Côte d'Azur. The Director of Catering will be responsible for executing event strategy, delivering exquisite culinary experiences and ensuring the highest level of service for our valued guests, particularly during our magnificent wedding season.
MAIN TASKS
Develop and implement the catering strategy to enhance the hotel's reputation as a destination of choice for weddings and events.Lead, coach and manage the catering and events team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.Work with clients to design customised catering packages to meet their specific needs and preferences.Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu development, budget management, recruitment and logistics.Ensure flawless execution of events, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to enhance catering offerings.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the hotel remains at the forefront of catering excellence.Organise regular training sessions for staff to ensure exceptional service and compliance with health and safety standards.Manage customer feedback and ensure continuous improvement of catering services.If you are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences and have the expertise to lead a first-class catering team, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
PROFILE REQUIRED
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the catering and events sector, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end venue.Proven experience in successfully managing large-scale events, particularly weddings.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.Budget management and financial reporting skills related to catering operations.Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of service.Fluency in English is required.Fluency in French is preferred but not essential.
