The Position

\n

We’re looking to add a Director of Channel Partner Enablement & Enterprise to join Teletrac Navman! This role will oversee the U.S. Channel Sales team and will be responsible for driving Teletrac Navman products and services in the U.S. and Canadian markets to maximize the performance of channels. This role will act as the champion for the region, understanding any specific market requirements and identifying new opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties

\n\nDevelop and implement the strategic sales plans for progress monthly and ensuring continued support for the direction. \nInterpret the business strategy and weave these into the strategic conversations both inside and outside the business. \nGrow sales within existing channels through promotions, training, and managing direct sales where necessary \nWork closely with the product managers to define new products and ensure that they meet regional requirements. \nOversee customer service delivery to major customers and sales channels to ensure that Teletrac Navman’s reputation for being responsive to its customers is maintained. \nRelationship management of major accounts consistent with the sales strategy. \nCarry out effective and accurate forecasting and actuals on sales metrics against plan and forecast. \nDevelop, maintain and report monthly on the channel activities, effectiveness and financial targets per channel partner and the channel as a whole to measure and report on partner program effectiveness \nDrive partner enablement programs to ensure partners are fully equipped to effectively sell and deliver solutions to customers. \nDevelop and manage partner assignments, pipeline, and lead management \nEngage the resources of the Sales and Marketing Teams to ensure new business success by meeting or exceeding personal sales targets and target leads. \nPartner with partners and prospects in order to ascertain that Teletrac Navman’s solution is a fit \nEnsure client acceptance and financial commitments are processed promptly within the sales processes and guidelines for personal sales. \nConduct regular reviews of customer service demand levels to ensure that resources and systems are appropriate and in place to meet increased demand due to growth in market share. \nCreate and manage onboarding, training, and development opportunities for direct reports. \nDevelop, recruit, and manage an active partner network to increase Teletrac Navman’s exposure in the market.  \nTravel to assigned accounts and attend trade shows, training events, and engage in relationship building. \nCollaborate with cross functional teams such as Product, Finance, Marketing and Service Delivery \nMaintain a knowledge base of product feature/functionality of competitive products present in the region. \n\n\n\n

Management Responsibilities

\n\n\n\nEnsure team members understand how their role contributes to the achievement of the Teletrac Navman business plans through the communication of ideas, thoughts and information. \nBuild a high performing team through the demonstration of effective leadership. \nContribute effectively to the Sales leadership team working collaboratively with others. \nCreate an environment that encourages open communication and trust in which team members are motivated and achieve objectives. \nOrganize and conduct effective quarterly, and annual performance reviews. \nDrive individual career planning and succession planning within the team. \nProvide effective coaching for the team to ensure they are continually growing and being conscious of other ways to achieve an outcome. \nEstablish short-term and mid-term plans and optimize resources to ensure that team objectives are consistently met. \nWork with the team to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the industry and associated products/technologies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Required Skills / Qualifications:

\n\nHighschool diploma or GED equivalent required. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree a plus.   \n5+ years of experience in channel management or business development role  \nExperience with partner account management \nKnowledge of the telematics industry desirable \nPrior B2B sales experience with successful track-record required \nWorking knowledge of SalesForce.com encouraged \nAn understanding of business processes and workflows \nStrong conflict management and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills \nWillingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders \nAbility to work within a fast-paced, change-embracing corporate culture \nStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills \nAbility to work with a diverse array of people, challenging in a non-confrontational way and builds successful working relationships  \n
