This includes liability claims (premises, auto, product), workers' compensation claims, and pharmacy & professional liability claims throughout the United States. Managers of each claims line will report to the Claims Director, who must exhibit strong leadership skills with the claims teams and third party administrator, develop strong claims practices and guidelines to ensure appropriate adjudication of claims, and stay engaged in key claims to mitigate risk to the company. The Claims Director will be engaged with leaders through CVS to support our claims practices and drive visibility on claims trends to each line of business. **Required Qualifications** + 10+ years experience managing or handling claims. + 3+ years managing direct reports. + Experience working with, managing or for a third party administrator. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience handling or managing workers' compensation and oversight of outside legal panel counsel handling litigated workers' compensation claims. + Experience handling or managing premises claims. + Experience handling or managing professional liability and medical malpractice claims. + Understanding of workers' compensation rules and regulations throughout the United States (experience in California, New York and Florida strongly desired). + An understanding of claims data and how to use data to adjust claims and manage trends. **Education** + Bachelor degree OR equivalent experience. **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
