Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Finance, Business Administration or related field required. Master’s degree in related field highly preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of manager or director level experience overseeing scheduling for patient/client access services in a health system is required. Proven experience leading client (patient) access, scheduling and client call center functions. Comprehensive understanding of health insurance plans and the Minnesota payer environment, referral/authorization for service receipt and management, clinical triage processes, appointment scheduling, insurance eligibility, pre-certification procurement, and pre-registration activities required. Demonstrated abilities in utilizing Lean/project management protocols for efficient workflows. Ability to develop and monitor budgets, interpret accounting reports, and prepare accurate billing information. Provides leadership, direction, and support for developing, implementing, and managing the efficiency and effectiveness of Client Access Operations. Trains and coaches supervisors and managers, sets clear expectations, monitors outcomes, creates a culture of open communication and helps team members solve complex problems through individual supervision and team meetings. Fosters a collaborative, supportive and collegial environment across departments to ensure a high-quality experience for clients and high staff morale. Partners with leadership throughout Fraser to transform the client experience and access, and work to resolve complex issues with key stakeholders. Analyzes and presents data for performance measurement, reporting and decision-making. Implements best practice standards to continually improve service utilization, customer service, referrals, and efficient operations processes. Creates action plans to improve processes towards attaining programmatic and budgetary goals. Develops a dashboard with key performance indicators. Manages all databases and Protected Health Information related to clients according to HIPAA, Fraser regulations and best practices. Coordinates with IT and Facilities to ensure optimal performance of information systems, communication systems and other technology needs.At Fraser, we believe in building a better, more inclusive world for people of all abilities.
