\n \n Job Description

The Director of Client Accounting, for a large community association management firm, will provide leadership, guidance and coordination of company’s client accounting systems and processes. This includes oversight of Customer Service, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Escrow, and Financial Management for 100 plus accounts.

\n\nOversee daily operations of the Financial Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Collections and Escrow departments\nDirect and coordinate clients’ financial planning and budget management process, including oversight of external auditors\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.\nEnsure proper Secretary of State and tax filings for all clients annually\nPrepare financial analysis for contract negotiations\nMaintain banking relationships and address discrepancies that arise\nDesign, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives\nWork in coordination with division Vice Presidents on resolution of client accounting issues\nRecruit, hire, train, supervise, motivate, mentor, evaluate, discipline, and terminate employees\nAttendance at client Board Meetings as requested\nSupport special projects as assigned by the President\n\n

The current salary for this position in CA is $80,000-$85,000.

\n Requirements\nBachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred\nMaster’s Degree and experience as a Controller of a sizable firm is preferred\n5-7 plus years of experience in a managerial accounting position is required\n
