This individual will enforce and maintain safety protocols, implementing best practices and patient safety initiatives across laboratory operations. WHAT WILL YOU DO?   Guarantee that testing systems deliver quality services, encompassing physical and environmental laboratory conditions, safety protocols, and biohazard standards.Maintain a safe and compliant environment, ensuring laboratory operations meet standards for all testing personnel.Direct supervision and consultation for moderate- to high-complexity testing, with oversight for qualified personnel performing tests.Ensure adequate, well-trained personnel are on staff, providing consultations and performing tests in line with established responsibilities.Review new test procedures, integrate them into laboratory protocols, and ensure compliance with each employee's written duties.Ensure patient care meets legal, ethical, and procedural standards, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.Lead staff education and training to maintain high competency in lab practices.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring smooth patient flow and information exchange.
