We are looking for a dedicated Director of Clinical Operations like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** **JOB TITLE** – Director, Clinical Operations **GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES** – The Director of Clinical Operations, an RN required position, provides clinical leadership, direction and management for all aspects of regulatory compliance and clinical competence for contract labor. This position is responsible for the oversight, analysis and implementation of quality measures as defined by the Chief Nursing Officer. **SUPERVISOR** – Chief Nursing Officer **SUPERVISES** – None **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO** : · Responsible for clinical performance management and remediation for all contract labor clinicals. Works closely with Human Resources/ Ethics and Compliance to investigate and appropriately document all clinical performance concerns. · Attends and participates in Facility nursing leadership meetings for assigned region, including but not limited to DCNE meetings, CNO meetings, Education Department Meetings, Nursing Director Meetings, etc. · Actively rounds on contract employees while on assignment at facilities · Provides clinical leadership, direction and expertise to HWS RVPs, DVPs, staffing offices, recruiters and the PMO for assigned regions · Oversee evaluation, implementation and maintenance of clinical and quality compliance requirements · Collaborates in development of educational standards and requirements including Meditech/eMar training, new hire orientation and annual updates · Participates in audit process, regulatory compliance issues and Board of Nursing investigations as needed · Maintains established documentation for capturing, analyzing, and reporting quality measures · Ensures compliance, education and communication of policies and procedures to support regulatory requirements · Perform all duties and responsibilities timely and effectively in accordance with established DCO processes to achieve overall objectives. · Maintains working area and equipment in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. · Other assigned duties as required. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES** – This position requires the following minimal requirements: · Excellent communication skills · Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure · Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently · Proficiency with Microsoft office products · Ability to learn new software programs **EDUCATION** –Bachelor’s degree in Nursing recommended **EXPERIENCE** – 5-7 years related healthcare experience **CERTIFICATE/LICENSE** – Registered Nurse Required **PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS** – + Exert up to10 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs frequently and/or 10 lbs constantly. + Requires prolonged sitting some walking, standing, repetitive tasks/ motions and stretching. + Requires clarity of vision, eye-hand-foot coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. · Requires the perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound · Requires normal eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. + Requires; dexterity to type Are you looking for a healthcare career that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth?
