Director of Club Operations
Overview The Director of Club Operations acts as an ambassador for the hotel and will provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities + Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service + Support the Club Director in the overall management and strategic direction of the Club, assuming the responsibilities of the Director in their absence + Oversee the operations functions of the Club + Supervise all Club Associates including Club Leadership team + Lead and support all departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targets through establishment of a positive culture, clear expectations and policy & procedural implementation + Assist in the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Club’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget + Support the planning and execution of Capital Expenditures + Ensure that monthly financial outlooks for all Club revenue streams are on time, on target and accurate + Ensure full compliance to Club operating controls + Actively involved in the recruitment and professional development process of Club leadership positions + Responsible for overseeing hiring and training of all Club staff + Ensure all reviews for all departments are done in a timely manner + Maintain and improve SOP’s for all departments + Responsible for maintaining the physical facilities at the highest level possible of cleanliness and function + Work closely with engineering to keep all facilities in working order including a PM program + Understand pool chemistry and upkeep dynamics + Developing knowledge base for all Club disciplines and revenue streams by participating in and monitoring programs + Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies + Monitor performance and attendance of all Club colleagues + Attend departmental meetings + Oversee the ongoing daily standup meeting dynamics + Maintain a robust communication log + Responsible for managing the quality assurance of the commercial cleaners and third party equipment maintenance vendors + Provide exceptional service to members + Follow up directly on members comments and concerns and maintain a customer feedback program + Give prospective member tours in the absence or assistance to Membership Office. + Ensure the Club MOD program is comprehensive and effective + Enforce club rules and regulations + Administer a member retention program to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty + Assist with the marketing of the club product, internally and externally working closely with the Director of Membership + Regularly participate in and oversee all activities and events scheduled for members + Attend regularly scheduled managers' and staff meetings in the Club and a ttend company-wide, resort-wide meetings. + Follow department policies, procedures and service standards + Interact with guests in a friendly, service oriented manner. + Follow all safety policies + Perform any other job duties as assigned Qualifications + Previous experience in a senior leadership role + Extensive business operations experience required + Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls + Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required + University/College degree in a related discipline preferred + Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities + Highly responsible & reliable + Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment + Ability to work cohesively as part of a team + Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times + Enthusiastic with an outgoing personality who is very service driven Benefits HEI Hotels and Resorts is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program that offers you choices for your physical, mental and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment - you!For your physical and mental wellness we offer competitive Medical and Dental programs through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as Vision insurance programs ​through EyeMed. ​Our Vacation, Sick and Holiday programs are available for you to rejuvenate with time off.
