Compensation based on experienceThis position requires the individual to oversee the Pinellas County United SC Competitive Program. To lead the efforts to achieve the growth and development of the players of our competitive program.
The Director of Coaching will work remotely from a home office and must live within reasonable commuting distance of St. Petersburg, FL due to the nature of the position.
Responsibilities To Include:
Oversee and manage competitive coaching staff
Develop, recruit, and maintain coaches
Foster a positive and supportive team culture
Create a club methodology and style of play that represents Pinellas County United SC from the earlier age groups right through to the oldest teams.
Oversee regular team practices and games
Train teams and coach teams when appropriate and needed
Oversee and establish an effective player selection tryout process for all age groups.
Reporting to and working closely with the Pinellas County United SC Board of Directors
Must possess USSF National “C” coaching license or higher
Familiarity with current training best practices
Strong communication and administrative skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive for the development, presentation and promotion of youth soccer programs and initiatives.
Ability to effectively communicate with players, parents, coaching staff and board of directors.
