ABOUT THE DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

The primary responsibility of the Director of Construction is to monitor and support the construction workflow associated with new and existing restaurant sites. This includes but is not limited to scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating various maintenance and construction projects. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and an attention to details.


TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST

Manage selected contractor, vendor, and architectConducts site investigations and construction surveysEnsure proper permitting, documentation, and codingResponsible for all construction budgets Timely and regularly communicate project timeline to all stakeholders Coordinates a purchase order system and maintains the system for all provided itemsCoordinates the set-up of all utilitiesLead and management the construction site through the turnover of the building to the operations teamAuditing the work on the site and providing concise and immediate feedback when necessary to get things back on trackResponsible for the close-out of each project, including necessary documents for TA dollars per lease
