Director of Content Security
Business Unit: Company 3  Position: Director of Content Security Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) *Pay Range: $110,000 - $160,000 USD annually POSITION SUMMARY:  The Director of Content Security is responsible for managing client audits and assessments of Company 3 / Method’s (including all affiliates) production, operational, managerial, physical, and digital security measures in place to be approved to receive pre-release content for various projects awarded.   In addition, to work with Company 3’s Global Security team to oversee and implement content security compliance across the entire post-production lifecycle within the various global facilities. Covering all aspects of security controls including: Digital (ie. network, application, digital data asset management and transfers), Physical (ie. surveillance cameras, electronic badge access, media asset management), and Management (ie. policies, procedures, HR Onboarding / Off Boarding, training).    MAIN DUTIES:  The Director of Content Security will manage and perform client on-site and/or virtual security audits / assessments ensuring compliance with MPA best practices and individual client needs, including completion of audit surveys and questionnaires. They will review compliance around physical security, digital security, management systems, and related processes internally with Global and Local security teams. They will manage assessment remediation projects and revalidation of security compliance. Other duties include: + Partner with the business units to ensure implementation and enforcement of security policies.   + Provide security consulting services based on client needs / requests to managers and staff to evaluate and address security concerns and risks with assistance from Global Security.   + Work with local management and production to implement and enforce project-specific content security policies and solutions to meet the individual and unique needs of each secure project.   + Serve as backup to the Global Security team in the implementation and execution of various physical security measures per studio location. + Serve as a partner in the creation and revision of content security policies, procedures, guidelines, and supporting documentation including departmental SOPs and workflow diagrams.   + Provide information from external audits to the Compliance Assessor to manage assessments of internal departments handling content to ensure appropriate security measures are in place.   + Ensure client specific content security training program(s) are administered and completed within designated timeframe; input staff in Employee List for training assignment, follow up with outstanding trainees to ensure compliance, track and report issues with managers.  + Escalate risks identified during audits to Global Security team to be evaluated, tracked, and resolved based on the risk matrix  + Assist with implementation of content handling SOPs. Including training, records and media asset management and retention.   WHAT YOU BRING:  The ideal candidate will bring previous experience relevant to Content Security. They will bring an ability to interact with various levels of management and staff in both technical and business roles. They will bring an ability to work non-standard shifts and/or on-call to support the requirements of the organization. They will bring an ability to maintain awareness of trends and developments in the area of media security.
