Job Title: Director of ConstructionJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Construction Management. Initially, the role will commence as a Construction Manager reporting directly to the COO, with the opportunity to be groomed into the Director of Construction Management position. This role involves managing a team, ensuring operational efficiency, and coordinating various construction projects. Responsibilities + Manage a team of up to 8 people + Order and keep track of safety equipment + Handle necessary forms and documentation + Ensure smooth operations from an administrative perspective + Review client and contractor schedules + Coordinate with administrative assistants + Assist with bridge projects Essential Skills + Experience in civil construction + Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 + Familiarity with Procore + OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications (preferred) + NICET certification (preferred) + Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification + Experience in construction management or project management, particularly with inspection experience in water/sewer projects Additional Skills & Qualifications + Background in DelDOT or SHA (preferred) + Experience in transportation projects (not mandatory) Work Environment Candidates can work out of any office, with a preference for the Hunt Valley, MD office. Additional offices are located in Dover, DE, and Wilmington, DE. The role may require some travel, and a travel stipend is available. The work environment is professional and collaborative, with an emphasis on safety and operational efficiency. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00 There is occasional travel required for the job so Carter will likely be providing a stipend for travel but would potentially consider gas mileage reimbursement.
