Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Development team member to spearhead our acquisition efforts within the clinical laboratory industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of market dynamics, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and pursue acquisition opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition strategy to identify potential targets in the clinical laboratory industry.Build and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis.Conduct detailed financial analyses and valuations of potential acquisition targets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct due diligence and assess strategic fit.Negotiate and structure acquisition deals in alignment with company goals and objectives.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership to support decision-making processes.Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform acquisition strategies.

 

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, or a related field.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a deep understanding of valuation techniques.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.Proven track record of successfully leading acquisition projects from inception to completion.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders.

Executive Management Staff often experience stress & pressure and need the ability to manage stressful situations in a calm and thoughtful manner. Additionally this job is performed in an office environment which requires the following abilities: 

Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Lifting & Moving: May need to assist with safely lifting or moving equipment and supplies on occasion.Fine Motor Skills: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
