ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical leader to join our Strategy and Corporate Development team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior functional and field leadership to drive key strategic initiatives (M&A and organic) in line with the organization’s long term growth plan. This will include overseeing the ideation, evaluation, and execution of high-impact, cross-functional value drivers and enablers that enhance our value proposition, customer experience, and financial performance. This role will report to the VP, of Strategy and will be based in Phoenix, Arizona.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Business Strategy/Development: Participate in executive level discussions on corporate strategy, planning and implementation of major initiatives directing best course of action. Facilitate the annual strategic planning process and partner with key stakeholders to drive alignment, buy-in and accountability towards a shared goal or outcome. Project Leadership/Management: Lead/facilitate/influence a wide range of strategic, commercial or operations projects, including but not limited to M&A pipeline management, pre-deal due diligence (financial synergies, etc.), post-deal integration, market and competitive analysis, adjacent market entry, organizational design, sales coverage model optimization, product positioning and pricing, inventory management, logistics optimization, capital allocation and more. Business Analytics & Financial Modeling: Effectively leverage financial data modeling techniques, statistical analysis, market research, industry trends and competitive benchmarking to inform valuation, forecasting and general decision making. Leadership & Communication: Communicate effectively with senior executives, peers and external partners, building coalitions and fostering a collaborative work culture. Develop team for future career paths in different functional leadership or general management roles within the organization. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Required Education level: Bachelor Degree. MBA preferred. Preferred Education Level: Graduate Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance, strategy, or general management. Years of related experience:  10+ years of relevant business experience in business analytics, operations, corporate strategy, finance, product management, investment or equity banking or strategy consulting; 7+ years of progressive leadership experience.  Financial data modeling (forecasting, valuation, etc.) with prior experience in big data analytics and statistical modeling and analysis. Excellent communication skills, project management skills (must lead large scale, complex or high impact projects) with ability to lead through influence and build coalitions among key stakeholders and decision makers; organizational change-management skills with ability to help facilitate cross functional assignments. Preferred Skills: Data visualization or BI Tools such as Tableau, SQL 20%-25% travel
