Here’s where you come in:

We are currently seeking a Director of Crop Operations. They will be responsible for managing a service team who provides the day-to-day service, new business, and renewal insurance needs of our Crop clients, with a focus on providing our customers with timely, accurate, professional and world class service.

The Director of Crop Operations will be required to manage teams to successful outcomes from regional strategic goals, key initiatives, efficiency gains, client retention and high service standards. This individual is responsible for teams being adequately trained, workflows followed, correct Broker Management System usage, and staffed. The Director of Crop Operations will only manage a small book of business as capacity allows, and may, from time to time, need to assist a team or specific book of business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Be the champion of Crop Workflows including Broker Standards. Ensure all direct reports are adhering to these policies and proceduresReview and hold teams accountable for work being completed or not completed in Broker Management SystemResponsible for teams meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Goals Review audits and reports to identify training needs or insurance knowledge insufficienciesAudit the staff to ensure compliance with workflows and broker standardsFacilitate communication between direct reports and create a positive, idea sharing, place where employees can share suggestions and improvementsTake on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high-energy and enthusiasmCreate a climate where employees are motivated to do their best and can be successful Continually review books of business to avoid uneven or workloads that are not equally managed and that team have staffing, resources and assistance needed to provide best client experienceManage teams to positive outcomes regarding carrier strategic corporate initiatives, book rolls and internal initiativesEnsure quality service is provided to our clients on a timely and consistent basisCoordinate a team of Account Managers and Assistant Account Managers to make sure we are appropriately staffed during normal work hours to adequately serve the clientMonitor daily attendance and approve electronic time records of service team membersCoordinate and approve vacation and other time away from the office, making sure we are adequately staffed to fulfill the service needs of our clients

The expected salary for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
