Responsibilities

The Director of Design (Physical Environments) provides Consumer Experience (CX) leadership to identify key CX strategies and modifications to physical spaces.

Ensures consumer-centricity in the organization's development thinking, emphasizing guidance for all of
our partners who own the physical space, working to prioritize, test, and plan out key changes in the
physical space experience.Identifies and organizes the necessary studies to evaluate how the Ascension experience comes to life in
the organization's physical spaces.Leads and propels progress escalating risks, tracking decisions, empowering decision makers, identifying
interdependencies, building project plans and managing stakeholder relationships.Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
Requirements

Education:

 

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years
being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences An architecture degree is strongly preferred
