Our client, a charter school, is seeking a temporary to permanent Director of Development to join their team!

The Job:

· Lead the development of grant strategies that are aligned with funding needs.

· Draft grant proposals, inquiry letters, project concepts, and reports.

· Coordinate prospecting, review opportunities, and develop briefs.

· Break the fundraising plan into actionable workstreams and tasks.

· Handle all administrative aspects of grant writing, fundraising, and documentation.

About You:

· A bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant development experience are required.

· Experience with fundraising software and CRMs is highly preferred.

· Experience in a K12 sector is desired.

· Creative problem-solver with technological savviness.

· Strong proposal, research, and reporting skills.

About the Position:

· $45/hr-$51/hr, while temporary.

· $100k-$125k, when permanent.

· 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
