The Director of DSBI Day Operations is responsible for the oversight of all administration for both Developmental and Brain Injury Day Services. They will ensure administrative operations and supports are in place to meet the identified service line needs, quality management and maintain fiscal solvency. This position will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the program and implementing programs policies and procedures.

Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree ResponsibilitiesService Delivery:
Promote an atmosphere of quality customer service and excellence in service delivery including providing oversight to satisfaction surveys, accreditation/licensing and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure continuous quality management of individualized programs and services with both internal and community resources.Oversee and maintain HCSIS (DDS reporting system). Assist all Managers and Directors in upkeep and completion of all reporting requirements and Agency deadlines are met. Assist in the oversight and maintenance of individual service plans, ISP’s and annual reviews to ensure that services are reviewed and approved in accordance with the plans. Train staff in case management responsibilities.Oversee and maintain all confidential files, ensuring they are complete, up-to-date and meet all applicable regulations. Follow procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.Attend all Interdisciplinary Team meetings and assist in the oversight of new referrals, intake and discharge. Develop effective working partnerships and maintain open lines of communication with all referral sources.Oversee training requirements for DS/BI day services team. Ensure that all day services staff maintain current appropriate certifications and training to perform duties.Assist in the oversight of daily staffing ratios to ensure compliance with funding requirements and provide direct support coverage when required.Stay current on changing support models and regulations to identify best practices and incorporate into Day service delivery.Assist in the development of social strategies, systems, and programs that support and improve the communities in which Advocates operates.Ensure compliance with all MassHealth, DDS and MRC regulations as they pertain to Day services.Facilities/Transportation/Purchasing:
Oversee and manage day to day activities of the front desk operations for all day locations with communication and assistance from other services within the program space. Provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for Receptionist/Administrative staff.Oversee facility maintenance for all day locations. Maintain cleaning, maintenance, and equipment contracts. Coordinate all property/maintenance orders with Facilities Department.Oversee and maintain vehicles within DS/BI Day Services, including those used for MART day habilitation transportation. Liaison to MART for Day Hab transportation provided by Advocates Programs.Oversee and maintain all PT-1 transport documentation and direct correspondence with all parties (MART, DDS, MH).Budgeting:
Assist in development and monitoring of all program budgets in accordance with program needs while maximizing all available internal and community resource. Prepare, complete, and maintain all contracts and billing requirements related to DS/BI Day Services. Review all billing completed by other Directors and Admin. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Human Services with 2 year experience in an Administrative/management role with working experience with those with developmental disabilities or in lieu of a degree at least three years employed working with those with developmental disabilities and two years in a admin/management role. Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess strong computer knowledge and strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities, Ability to execute a variety of decision-making models and to multi-task with frequently changing priorities.High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere.Must hold a valid drivers’ license. Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport consumers.
