Job Summary
As the Director of Dining Services, you will be responsible for the day to day food service operations of the food & nutrition department including patient meals and the retail cafe. This is a small dining operation in a hospital setting. You will manage, develop, and direct a team of about 7 employees, build client relationships, and ensure profitability and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
+ Maintains excellent relationships with the client
+ Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students
+ Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary teams
+ Acts as a liaison between the Company, Client, and the community
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Three years of food service management experience preferably in dining operations
+ Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable
+ Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels
+ Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
+ Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet
+ ServSafe® Certified
