We are seeking a Director of eDiscovery to join the T-Mobile team and lead the company’s eDiscovery work. This role is highly strategic and will leverage analytics of internal data, AI, and other evolving technologies to create solutions to eDiscovery challenges while managing risks and costs across the business. This leader will lead a team that is responsible for delivering effective, cost efficient, and risk balanced solutions for managed document reviews and productions. This position will manage the company’s approach to eDiscovery work and will oversee the quality, timeliness, and budget of projects. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including team members, legal team and business colleagues, and critical third-party partners.
What you’ll do in your role.
Lead a team that plans, executes, and manages eDiscovery projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budgetDesign and implement effective solutions for managed document reviews, using advanced analytics, AI, and other evolving technologies to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance outcomesProvide strategic guidance and consultation to clients on eDiscovery best practices, tools, and methodologiesMonitor and report on the progress and status of eDiscovery projects, identifying and mitigating risks and issuesManage and supervise the eDiscovery team, including project managers, analysts, reviewers, and support staffTrain and mentor the internal eDiscovery team on best practices, tools, and methodologiesCoordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, attorneys, and IT staffEvaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies and solutions for eDiscoveryEnsure compliance with eDiscovery standards, policies, and proceduresThe experience you’ll bring.
A bachelor’s degree and a juris doctorate from accredited institutionsA minimum of 15 - 20 years of relevant experience in the eDiscovery space, including project management, consulting, and litigation supportExpertise in eDiscovery best practices, tools, and methodologies, including in the areas of advanced analytics, AI, and technology-assisted reviewStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead independently crafting strategic directions and work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAbility to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectivelyAbility to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutionsAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders• At least 18 years of age

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
