Director of Employee Engagement
Reporting to the VP of Employee and Community Engagement, this position is responsible for setting the strategy and directing the planning of our Employee Engagement approach focusing on strengthening employee engagement and enhancing company culture to achieve business objectives. Provides program expertise, oversees execution enterprise-wide of employee rewards and recognition and engagement programs, the employee listening strategy and satisfaction surveys. Creates and directs employee engagement strategies, ensuring they remain closely tied to our corporate goals. **What you will be doing:** + Provide strategic guidance and oversight across all departmental efforts. + Lead Engagement program team to ensure excellent execution of goals for full impact on employee engagement programs: Employee Appreciation, Awards of Excellence, Heartfelt Thanks, Milestone Anniversaries, Better Together, Employee Experience Survey and more. + Provide tools and resources for managers to ensure employees' experience aligns with Employee Value Proposition and positive work environment practices. + Share expertise on latest engagement trends and program content aligned to company culture and needs. + Develop new, innovative approaches to employee rewards and recognition, culture and listening programs. + Partner closely with executives and stakeholders to effectively communicate and influence department recommendations and set department strategies. + Actively seek and monitor feedback on department deliverables and make appropriate adjustments Oversee the development, execution, and analysis of the employee surveys and ensure appropriate follow-up plans are developed based on the input of these key constituencies. + Analyze Human Resource trending reports for engagement, satisfaction, turnover, hiring, demographics etc. to make informed decisions. + Align efforts across all Human Resources functions and collaborates with the UK as needed + Oversee team in executing excellent customer service and helpdesk responsiveness. **What we hope you will bring to the role:** Bachelor's Degree - Required Degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Education - Preferred 10 years HR, project management, leadership in a multi-site service industry experience - Required **Additional Job** **Requirements** + Demonstrated project management, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage details of multiple and complex projects within firm schedules is essential. + Deep knowledge of Human Resources practices and strategies and proven success implementing engagement, recognition and employee survey programs to create a positive work environment. Successful execution of Bright Horizons Engagement programs a plus. Knowledge of corporate social responsibility strategy preferred. + 10-plus years of experience leading teams and developing strong relationships with team members. + Ability to set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of activities or job duties. + Effectively carry out departmental goals in a manner that enhances the image of Bright Horizons. + Excellent internal and external relationship building skills. Prior experience working with executive level preferred. + Strong commitment to and experience with Diversity Equity and Inclusion programs. + Experience working closely with the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children, other nonprofit or corporate Foundations a plus. + Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude preferred. + Demonstrate integrity, dependability, sound judgment, teambuilding and resourcefulness to establish and maintain collaborative, positive, and effective working relationships with multiple and diverse and constituency groups. + Excellent communication skills sufficient to express ideas and agreements concisely and persuasively, both orally and in writing, to a variety of constituencies. + Ability to maintain a positive attitude. + Excellent customer service skills. + Experience developing and overseeing department budgets. The annual salary range for this role is: $95,000 to $110,000.
