As a Director of Engineering here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role\nin leading and managing the engineering function within the company. You will\nbe responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and\noperational oversight to the Torrance\nMechanical Test team. You will also be responsible for driving test strategies across the\nMechanical Test organization and leading business initiatives and\nprojects. The Director of Engineering will collaborate with cross-functional\nteams and stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and achieve\nbusiness objectives.
You will report directly to our Senior Director for Mechanical Test and\nyou will work out of our Torrance, California location on a on-site work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to\nthe Torrance Mechanical Test team
• Directly manage Torrance Mechanical Test\nengineering team
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery\nof engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and\nstakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives
• Ensure adherence to engineering best\npractices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Manage and optimize engineering resources,\nbudgets, and timelines
• Identify and implement process improvements to\nenhance efficiency and productivity
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering\nteam
• Lead strategic projects and business\ninitiatives for Mechanical Test organization
• Lead business initiatives and projects
The annual base salary range for this position is\n$ 216,000.00-$266,000.00 Please note that this salary information\nserves as a general guideline. This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related\nfield (Master's degree preferred)
• \n8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles
• Prior experience in managing cross-functional\nteams and stakeholders
• Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
• \nProven track record of successful project execution and delivery
