It’s an opportunity to be part of something special. **The Engineering Director with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)** focus is a pivotal leadership role within Haleon. Reporting directly to the Site Director, this position is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the engineering function while also ensuring the highest standards of environmental stewardship, health, and safety across all operations. This position will play a critical role in driving innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability initiatives while fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. These responsibilities include some of the following: **Engineering Leadership:** + Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. + Develop and execute strategic engineering plans aligned with company goals. + Oversee engineering projects from design to implementation, ensuring quality and efficiency. **Environmental Management:** + Develop and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance. + Identify environmental risks and opportunities, championing sustainability initiatives. + Drive efforts to reduce waste, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions. **Health and Safety Oversight:** + Establish and maintain a comprehensive health and safety program. + Conduct safety audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions. + Lead incident investigations and promote a culture of safety excellence. **Regulatory Compliance:** + Stay informed on environmental, health, and safety regulations. + Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and industry groups. + Advocate for compliance and best practices across the organization. **Cross-functional Collaboration:** + Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Production Maintenance, and Procurement. + Provide technical expertise and guidance on EHS matters to internal stakeholders. **_Why you?_** **Basic Qualifications:** We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: + Bachelor’s degree, Chemical or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering + 10+ years of experience encompassing project, process, validation, reliability engineering, and plant maintenance. + Demonstrated success in engineering management roles, emphasizing project delivery, team development, strategic planning, and financial acumen. + In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations, with a strong history of developing and implementing EHS programs. + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a documented ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels. + Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence, evidenced by measurable outcomes. **Preferred Qualifications:** If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: + Professional certifications in engineering (e.g., PE) and EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH) are highly desirable. **Location:** **This role is located onsite at our Lincoln, NE facility.** **_Why join us?_** Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
