We are recruiting for a Director of Events position to join the Sales & Marketing team at Rosewood Castiglion del BoscoAs Director of Events, you will be responsible for the operational, qualitative and economic aspects of the Events department, supporting guests' needs during their stay, You will use the highest standards of service and hospitality and supervise the Events team. This is a key position for supporting the growing of Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco.
Job Description

• Handling daily group/event bookings.
• Getting all information from Sales Managers about a group booking through the hand-over process by following the company SOP.
• Editing events offer, enclosing menus, beverage options, activities and other arrangements
• Editing sales agreements for Catering services 
• Study of feasibility of the events and selection of the best pattern to propose. Building and maintaining a database of local suppliers to be the best partners to work with during events on property
• Working with F&B and Finance departments to ensure the profitability margins required are met when quoting banqueting services. 
• Meet with clients to work out the details of their functions during site inspections on property
• Editing Banquet Event Orders following company standards 
• Ensure that all definite functions are detailed accurately on Banquet Event Orders, signed by clients and distributed to designated departments on a timely basis; resolve any discrepancies with respective Catering staff.
• Conduct the weekly BEO meeting to communicate all the information on upcoming events to the operational departments.
• Soliciting new business opportunities and networks, and improving relationship with  current clients with daily initiatives, sales calls. 
• Analyzing revenue reports, presenting business opportunities and proposing the strategy and tactics in weekly sales business review 
• Actively solicit and book business following hotel standards 
• Prepare and distribute an annual Catering marketing plan in accordance with hotel specifications; assign monthly action steps to Catering staff and follow up on each; adjust and update the marketing plan each quarter.
