As the Director of Events, you will be at the heart of creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, driving revenue, and leading a high-performing team. Your role is pivotal in achieving the hotel's catering revenue goals while overseeing the full cycle of catering sales and operations. By maximizing event opportunities, managing all aspects of event planning, and delivering exceptional customer service, you will play an instrumental part in our success.

What You'll Do: In this exciting leadership role, you'll be responsible for the following:

Revenue Achievement: Drive Total Catering Revenue to meet or exceed targets by selling, contracting, and closing catering and social business opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve both individual and team goals.Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the Catering Sales (CS) and Sales & Event Service Managers (SESM) teams, overseeing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and overall team development.Client Engagement: Host hotel tours, engage with clients, and ensure all events are seamlessly executed. Create lasting relationships through exceptional service and attention to detail.Operational Excellence: Utilize your expertise in food & beverage and banquet service to ensure flawless event execution, from planning to post-event follow-up. Work closely with chefs, banquet managers, and other key departments to ensure every event exceeds expectations.Collaboration: Partner with the Director of Sales & Events, General Manager, Food & Beverage teams, and Banquet Manager to ensure smooth operations and cohesive service delivery.Strategic Forecasting & Budgeting: Contribute to the development of the banquet/catering budget and generate monthly forecasts. Use data to interpret market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.Customer Service Excellence: Implement service strategies to foster customer loyalty, ensuring every event creates an extraordinary experience for our guests.Administrative Leadership: Manage the sales and catering system (CI/TY, Delphi.fdc) and ensure all event details, proposals, and communications are tracked, organized, and executed efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

At least 3 years of hotel or industry-related experience, with a proven track record in catering sales and event management. Delphi experience a plus ,
