Accomplishes objectives by providing leadership, management, attention to fiscal responsibility, and quality service to internal and external clients. Serves as an available consultative resource for all clients, and may participate in sales calls, presentations and trade shows as required. Responsibilities include overseeing the delivery processes, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and maintaining high-quality service for internal and external clients. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with leadership teams, and direct oversight of various departments, including IT Product Development, Quality, Training, Big Data Management, and Field Operations Management. The Director will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction along with proposal development for Client and Project specific Scopes of Work and direct interface with Sales staff to assure client’s expectations and needs are met. As new programs are developed, the Director is involved in project scope of work and costing models development and implementation. Interfaces on a regular basis with leadership team, ensuring conformance of the program standards and procedures, and provides guidance and assistance to technical and administrative support staff. The Director will work at developing its leaders, creating overall operational plans that focus on strategic priorities to deliver the yearly financial objectives and positioning the business for continued growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.
Possesses a deep understanding of the current operations of Transactional Expanded Services, their associated technical services, Commercial Real Estate Due Diligence, and business model. Strategize clear pathways and initiatives that will drive growth and profitability of all subcontracted work. Responsible for division’s contribution to business profit and loss center. Align the programs and respective program managers in the approach of operations and standardize the methodology of managing the profit and loss of each profit center. Identify opportunities for cross-department resourcing/assistance. This individual will monitor the P&L of each expanded service line and advise/take action with Program Managers when business risks emerge. Provides regular weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on division’s performance, profitability, and tracking/progress to divisional goals. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to personnel within and across the division. Conduct performance reviews on Program Managers of all Expanded Services. Attend sales meetings, sales calls, trade shows, and client meetings as needed. Managing and mentorship to multiple Program Managers of various expanded service lines that predominately involve vendor execution. Accountable for specific business service lines profit & loss center Routinely interfaces with team at all levels to ensure conformance of business operating standards and procedures, as well as provides guidance and assistance to the team as needed. Designs new initiatives to ensure operational efficiency is maximized and maintains active involvement/engagement in initiative planning, development and implementation. Responsible for managing and maximizing team’s utilization metrics and appropriate resource assignment. Creates career progression roadmaps for employees under direct hierarchy. Provides standardization of operating procedures across similar project types to gain operational efficiency. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements and licensing laws, by studying new and existing legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary action. Meets with new and existing Clients as necessary to further strengthen and expand BV’s relationships. Maintains profitability goals as established in the budgets, based on workforce capacity and revenue goals. Plans departmental objectives by studying requirements, market demand, identifying and forecasting trends, conferring and collaborating with other members of management. Works closely with leadership to create annual budget and quarterly updates. Participates in regularly scheduled meetings and special committees and assists the leadership team as needed to help achieve operational goals. Provides leadership and champions new services in support of BV growth. Drives team performance based on KPIs and measurable service delivery. Ascertains and communicates Client expectations/objectives within sales and operations and evaluates the opportunity to upsell. Utilize data analytics to drive business decisions. Responsible for the efficient and effective allocation of departmental resources. Maintains departmental operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing project, operational and personnel policies and procedures. Maintains open communication with management and staff regarding departmental and operational matters. Provides technical expertise/guidance for department by monitoring technical updates/changes for department based on the industry and maintaining technical competencies requirements for department staff. Assists Talent Acquisition team by performing interviews and phone screens of prospective candidates. Assists in the development of training programs and provides technical training on an as-needed basis to our clients. Ensures standard operating procedures are documented. Upholds and guides to ensure industry standards are met. Enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Protects operations by keeping company information confidential. Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs. Demonstrates BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals. Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of BV's quality standards and strategic initiatives. Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises employees on the team in a direct reporting relationship. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field; minimum of seven years of related experience. In lieu of degree, ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with managing greater than 75 team members preferred. Required to have a minimum of two years of P&L management.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record). Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required.
Language Ability: Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, peers, and technical field staff.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Technology Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in operating a computer, having knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, and project management software.
