Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Director of Facilities in Wilmington MA. Our client is a rapidly growing international semi-conductor and manufacturing company. This regional role will establish the successful candidate as the organizations expert in facilities fabrication (fab and test) design and operations. Key responsibilities include planning, hiring, design coordination, project implementation, and operations, with a focus on the Massachusetts area.
The Facilities Director will also be responsible for promoting a positive image for our customer with stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, local communities, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility and Project Management: Oversee semiconductor plant operations and manage the design and construction of new facilities and upgrades.
- Energy Efficiency and Strategic Planning: Implement energy-efficient technologies and develop master space plans with cost-effective solutions.
- Technical and Regulatory Expertise: Ensure knowledge of design and safety systems, manage support systems, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Team and Sustainability Management: Hire and develop a high-performance team, and work on sustainability initiatives to secure conservation rebates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in facility operations and the semiconductor industry.
Chartered Engineer or Facilities professional designation is a plus.
Current knowledge of energy-efficient approaches for semiconductor fabs, test areas, and office spaces.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Quality and safety-oriented mindset.
Self-starter with the ability to work
Compensation for this role is from $158,000 to 230,000 per year annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
