Salary: 91,104.00-136,656.00 USD Facility: Kenmore Mercy Hospital Shift: Shift 1 Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: Yes Work Schedule: Days Hours: 8am-4pm Summary: Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations of Kenmore Mercy Hospital, the Director of Facilities is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing facility activities. Develops strategies and activities to align with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Provides oversight for areas of responsibility to ensure achievement of goals for the departments. The Director of Facilities drives performance and is accountable for directing and coordinating the complete and efficient operations of KMH in compliance with the JCAHO and regulatory guidelines for, safety, health, and the environment. Works in collaboration with ministry and corporate leadership to provide support to the development and coordination of systems to ensure that the principles and traditions of Catholic Healthcare are integrated into the organization's operations, structures, programs and practices. Prepares and implements short and long term goals, sets priorities, and establishes timetables for the achievement of these initiatives. Responsibilities: Education + Successful completion of the requirements for a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration or other appropriate discipline from an accredited College or University with a minimum eight (8) years of progressive career experience developing a working knowledge of, and active participation in all aspects of hospital or long term care facilities, engineering and support services. or- + Successful completion of an Associate's Degree or Trade School Program in appropriate discipline with a minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of progressive career experience developing a working knowledge of, and active participation in all aspects of Hospital or Long Term Care facilities, engineering and support services. Experience + Five (5) years of progressive management experience required. + Demonstrated experience in authoring and enforcing system policies and procedures. + License + NYS Driver's License + 1st Class Stationary Engineer License preferred Knowledge, Skill and Ability + Excellent communication skills. + Demonstrated strategic planning, analytical, and organization skills + Excellent leadership, facilitation and mediation skills. + Ability to develop and work in a collaborative team environment. + Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access software applications.
