If this sounds like you, apply today! Tri Pointe Homes Orange County-Los Angeles is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group as a Director of Finance. Position Highlights: The primary responsibilities for day-to-day are planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning and cost accounting. Position Responsibilities: The fiduciary responsibility of enforcing the operating procedures and policies Ensure the financial results report conforms with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) together with financial and accounting policies Ability to understand all aspects of the computerized accounting system deployed in the operating divisions, and utilize the system to its full capabilities Responsible for the budgeting process and must ensure that all budgets input to the computerized accounting system always reflect out contractual or estimated contractual liabilities Responsible for the preparation and reliability of all financial projections for internal distribution and also for developer partners (participation calculations) Responsible for the successful implementation and management of divisional information systems applications Responsible for all banking activities being executed per policies and procedures issued by Division Ability to perform in both the financial and operational segments of the business Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in accounting/finance required A minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting or a related field CPA preferred Advanced PC skills, including Excel knowledge JD Edwards experience preferred Home Building industry experience preferred Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) Proven knowledge of internal controls & SOX compliance Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $154,900-195,600 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
