Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in Morgan Hill, California, for a Director of Finance to join our team. The role will be primarily focused on managing and overseeing our accounting functions and software systems, ensuring the smooth operation of financial services and maintaining robust budget processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
• Ensure that accounting systems are updated and maintained as necessary to include new businesses, laws, and regulations.
• Implement and manage the financial services, like ADP, and accounting software systems like BlackLine and Concur.
• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Develop and implement auditing processes to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Utilize CRM tools to keep track of client interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
• Monitor banking activities of the organization.
• Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.

Requirements
• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance-related role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Knowledge and use of BlackLine software is a must.
• Familiarity with Concur software is necessary.
• Ability to effectively use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting functions is mandatory.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Auditing skills and experience are crucial.
• Familiarity with budget processes is required.
