**Director of Finance** **AdventHealth** **Location Address:** **400 CELEBRATION PLACE, Celebration, 34747** **Top Reasons to work at AdventHealth** **Work Hours/Shift:** + Full Time Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm **You Will Be Responsible For:** + Communicates financial results to the campus leadership team + Collaborates with campus leadership to identify opportunities to improve financial performance + Support campus teams in achieving financial improvements + Assist in the preparation of capital and operating budgets + Support the financial analysis and proformas associated with strategic considerations + Actively involved in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets for the facility + Be involved in leading functional budget efforts across the system + Assist in maintaining campus specific cost savings strategies + Facilitate inter-campus and external benchmarking Qualifications **What Will You Need:** **EDUCATION REQUIRED** **:** + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting **EDUCATION PREFERRED:** + Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting **EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:** + Three years of applicable healthcare financial management experience, including operational involvement and/or project management + Five years of relevant Finance experience **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:** + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) + Certified Management Accountant (CMA) + Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with CPA **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED** **:** + If applicable, maintain certification specific to profession. **Job Summary:** The Finance Director assists in the development and implementation of the campus strategic plan. They bring focus to financial performance improvement processes by creating a culture of accountability and management by fact. They influence change, clarify ambiguity, mobilize teams for meaningful action, and create performance expectations and mindset. The Director interacts with hospital administration and department directors to provide relevant, accurate, and timely information. The individual brings focus to financial performance improvement processes by identifying opportunities within the organization including revenue, cost, efficiency and productivity. The individual must actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
