Four Seasons Hotel New York is seeking an experienced Director of Food & Beverage with a passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards.

As the Director of Food & Beverage, you will:

Oversee all F&B departments, ensuring adherence to Four Seasons quality standards, policies, and procedures.Perform necessary controls to maintain these standards across all areas.Conduct annual performance reviews and keep management informed of departmental developments.Focus on team development through personalized monitoring, proposing training actions to improve individual performance.Conduct recruitment interviews using the "Evolve Interview Guide," ensuring candidates are well-informed of departmental goals and policies.Monitor payroll management and ensure the smooth operation of all F&B teams.Develop annual income and expenditure plans, concentrating efforts on maximizing profits and controlling costs.Collaborate with General Management and Chefs in menu and card design.Contribute to the annual marketing plan, leveraging cross-departmental efforts to increase revenue and enhance the hotel's image.Maintain open communication with all hotel departments regarding business fluctuations, special guests, and groups.Build strong relationships with guests, regulars, and group contacts to provide personalized service.Stay actively involved in operations and serve as a key point of contact.Provide personalized follow-up for each client during their stay, ensuring daily room attention and timely follow-up on requests.Act as an ambassador for Four Seasons philosophy, ensuring its understanding and adherence by all staff.

What you bring

Minimum of five years in senior F&B management roles, with strong team development and performance management skills.Experience overseeing multiple F&B departments, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality standards.Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and maximizing profitability while maintaining quality.Proven ability to collaborate with chefs on menu development to enhance guest experience.Experience contributing to F&B marketing plans and driving revenue.Strong communication and collaboration with hotel departments and external partners.

Schedule & Hours

This role is a full-time, on-site role and will need flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.

Compensation

175,000 - 190,000 Annual Salary

Applicants will be responsible for obtaining or will currently hold proper work authorization for the country in which the position is located.
