Director of Food Factory Quality Assurance

A four-year food-related degree; five plus years of experience as a Quality Assurance Director or Manager at a food processing plant; five plus years of experience working with USDA regulations; and five plus years of experience with HACCP, USDA and Safe Quality Food (SQF) program regulations are all required to be considered Pay is $120,000 to $152,000 Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder No remote as this is an 100% onsite position Full-time, permanent W-2 employee Full benefits No relocation Located in the Jefferson, Wisconsin area

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

Managing, training and mentoring the QA Manager, QA Supervisor and the other QA department employees Being responsible for anything related to quality  Interacting with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) employees Ensuring compliance with HACCP and all internal and external food safety regulations Creating, implementing and maintaining the Safe Quality Food (SQF) code Supporting new product development and marketing

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

A four-year food-related degree Five or more years of experience as a Quality Assurance Director or Manager at a food processing plant Five or more years of experience working with USDA regulations Five or more years of experience with HACCP, USDA and Safe Quality Food (SQF) program regulations A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within 45 minutes
