Director of Foodservice Marketing

The Director of Foodservice Marketing reports to the SVP of Foodservice Marketing and directs and manages all activities related to the Shamrock Foods brand, as well as Shamrock Foods’s portfolio of strategic initiatives including but not limited to culinary segment brands, service brands, customer consulting & software brands, and loyalty programs. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for brand and program creative oversight, as well as communications plan development, and will lead in the creation of annual marketing plans, budgets, and sales force educational tools.

Essential Duties:

\n\nDevelopment and execution of strategic and annual marketing, communication, and content plans to drive the goals of each strategic initiative.\nOversee customer insights and segmentation initiatives to merchandise learnings to key stakeholders and continuously optimize the experience customers have with Shamrock Foods.\nEstablish and lead creative direction for all branded channels including shamrockfoodservice.com, Kitchentelligence Magazine, emails, social content, and more.\nEstablish and manage Shamrock Foods’ content strategy for social media, email and ecommerce channels, while working alongside digital merchandising team to execute and optimize\nManage in-house production and work with outside agencies and design firms on development of all creative and communications pieces.\nLead development of new channels to further drive vendor income and increase our value with the customer.\nWork with Branch Marketing Managers to establish annual plans and support execution of all programs through sales meetings and touchpoints.\nActively work with Customer Experience and Analytics team to assess performance and optimize campaigns.\nCommunicate the successes and opportunities for these programs to Shamrock stakeholders through strong data support and excellent presentation skills. \nOther duties as assigned. \n\n

Qualifications:

\n\n7+ years’ experience in marketing, foodservice marketing a plus, Bachelor’s degree preferred \nProven experience in building and executing strategic and impactful marketing communication campaigns \nTrack record of developing high quality brand and communication programs\nCreative and strategic thinking skills\nExperience in working with both secondary and primary research\nSelf-starter with a desire to roll up sleeves, managing competing priorities and work tactically\nAbility to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams\nStrong technical aptitude with web-based tools and intermediate to advanced proficiency of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.\nExperience in managing people with a minimum staff size 2 – 3 people.\nExcellent communication skills\nBudget management experience\nExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines\n\n
