Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Global PayFac, ISV and Acceptance Enabler Strategy to join our team and help us grow and support our ambitions to grow into new verticals and with SMBs and improve the acceptance ecosystem for key enablers.  

You will be responsible for: 

Developing and implementing a cohesive PayFac/ISV/enabler strategy and vision across regions, verticals, and products, being clear about various end-enabler archetypes and differing needs Identifying and enabling key operational partnerships and solutions for PayFacs and their acquirers, resellers, and ISVs  Driving product development and innovation for PayFacs and non-members, with a focus on value-added services, customer management services, and vertical-specific offerings Designing and executing enablement programs, campaigns, events, and content  Developing and maintaining sales materials, pitch decks, market studies, and analytics  Building and managing internal tools and processes for registration, onboarding, certification, data quality, and compliance Developing meaningful KPIs and tracking and reporting on these  Sharing best practices, case studies, and knowledge across regions and teams Collaborating with issuing, policy, compliance, and product teams to ensure alignment and integration of strategy and execution Optimizing/Simplifying rules while still balancing it with compliance, making Visa easy to work with

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two to three days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50%+ of the time based on business needs. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD)

Preferred Qualifications: 

Minimum 5 years in payments, PayFac/ISV/gateway businesses or fintechIdeally someone who has exposure to different models and players GloballyGood understanding of payments products and solutions and commercials and reseller models across the boardPrior experience running Global programs/strategies and working very tightly with regional counterparts, building alignment and coalitions  Strong communication skills – translating into the ability to effectively communicate market needs and secure executive buy-in as well as the ability to craft narratives An innovation mindset, driven by an understanding of merchants and acquirers and the enablers in betweenAbility to work with cross-functional teamsStrong storytelling skillsA ‘do-er’ – someone who can roll up their sleeves and within the program act as a jack-of-all-trades to drive the right outcomesProven track record of driving commercial outcomesAbility to quickly assess an opportunity's potential, leveraging fact-based analyses and industry experience Deep understanding of data within the acceptance ecosystem and rules and compliance programs amongst players

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 139,200 to 181,100 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
