What You'll Be Doing

The Director of Grants is responsible for the financial reporting of grant related activities and for the overall management of grant funded departments. Leads grant preparation and submission process, oversees, and supports all aspects of the grant program, as well as conducting ongoing monitoring and evaluations.

Responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of all grants.Communicate and work closely with CarePoint Health grants finance department, program directors and coordinators to develop and maintain all essential grant funded programs.Schedule and lead bi-monthly meetings with program directors of all CPH funded departments to monitor contractual programmatic and fiscal compliance (includes monitoring of accruals and unspent funding).Review and submit all grants applications and renewals.Monitor all not-for-profit grants compliance requirements by funders.Create and submit ongoing status updates and reports to funders, as required.Tract all grants related expenses to ensure that they are allowable costs.Engage regularly with funders to maintain strong working relationships.Review and ensure that all not-for-profit policies and procedures are updated as required by Federal and State mandates.Manages the day-to-day grants related financial requirements.Responsible for management of grants related fiscal documentation, utilizing the QuickBooks entries (revenues, expenses, bill payments and monthly reconciliation).Work closely with outside auditors yearly to complete required Uniform Guidance and single audits.Assist with day-to-day operation of nonprofit entity and yearly fund-raising events.

 

What We're Looking For

Full Time, Day Shift 

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; Masters preferred.Working knowledge of federal regulations regarding fiscal management of federal and state funds.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communications skillsAbility to exercise independent judgment to plan and prioritize diverse workload, meet frequent deadlines, take initiative, self-motivate and function autonomouslyExcellent data gathering skills and the ability to creatively solve problems and formulate/implement process improvementsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, changing environmentKnowledge of restricted fund accounting principles, procedures, and standards.
