A Director of Group Sales with Hilton Cleveland works with the Group Sales Team in establishing and implementing market territory action plans, responsible for revenue by achieving room night and average rate goals and assisting in the development and management of the Sales Team.
\nHilton’s Commercial Services organization is comprised of team members driving our sales, revenue, marketing, catering and events management, call centers, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are essential to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth.
\nWhat will I be doing?
\nWork with the Group Sales Team in establishing and implementing market territory action plans, responsible for revenue by achieving room night and average rate goals and assisting in the development and management of the Sales Team.
\n\n\n\nDirect Sales Team to develop and refine their skills and prepare each team member for advancement. \nEstablish group sales strategy, overall direction and lead generation in conjunction with marketing efforts. \nAdminister the sales incentive program, team building, individual performance reviews and trip reports. \nTravel with Managers and hold meetings to assist in closing business. Some travel is required. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\n\nMinimum Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred \nMinimum Years of Experience: Three (3) or more years in hospitality sales & marketing leadership preferred\nMinimum Years of Experience: Three (3) years cross-functional experience in hotel management, or related industry experience preferred\n\nIt would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
