**Job Description Summary**
GE HealthCare Imaging offers intelligent imaging devices and software solutions, designed to improve clinical decisions, imaging operations and exam workflow efficiency.
This role leads the Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research team for GE HealthCare’s Imaging portfolio of products and services. This team is part of the Imaging Marketing Value Propositions and Insights organization in GE HealthCare partnering with business leaders to develop compelling evidence to support product value propositions.
The individual in this role will work cross-functionally with GE HealthCare stakeholders to identify opportunities and lead outcomes research projects that deliver evidence to support key commercial objectives and to demonstrate the value of GE HealthCare’s in-development and marketed products to providers, governments, and other stakeholders that influence the purchasing decisions.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to identify key business objectives and recommend best research practices to deliver on evidence generation needs. Drive HEOR thought leadership serving as best practice/quality resource with awareness of latest functional and technical developments.
+ Lead HEOR continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and best practice sharing.
+ Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex projects. Use multiple internal and external resources to deliver on business needs.
+ Communicate complex messages and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action and consult with external partners, vendors, or customers.
+ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HEOR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Provide strategic guidance, prioritization focus, technical oversight and support to the team to deliver on objectives aligned with business needs.
+ Own the GE HealthCare Performance, Assessment, Coaching and Enablement processes for the HEOR team. Enable a diverse workplace conducive to achieving organizational objectives and supporting team development.
+ Develop Evidence Plans: Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders (product leaders, marketing, clinical) to develop plans for evidence generation and value communication. Coordinate multiple projects for business teams delivering evidence to demonstrate the value of GE HealthCare products across different care areas / imaging modalities / regions.
+ Generate Evidence: Scope, design and execute studies demonstrating operational and/or financial outcomes. Identify and manage external contractors undertaking studies on behalf of GE HealthCare. Where appropriate, undertake in-house studies and related activities such as primary research questionnaire design, field studies, literature reviews, economic modelling, etc.
+ Interpret and Communicate Results: Effectively communicate evidence plans and study results undertaken by GE HealthCare and by other organizations to internal and external audiences. Develop tools for marketing and field-based teams globally to demonstrate / communicate product value. Where appropriate, present research findings at professional congresses and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
+ Governance and Compliance: Manage all activities to ensure ethical operations and adherence to legal, regulatory, compliance and company standards.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Health Economics, Business, Marketing, or related Science, Engineering, Technology and Math field
+ Specialization in health services research, user experience, statistics, economics, or epidemiology.
+ 10+ years of experience in healthcare (pharmaceutical/medical technology) industry, HEOR or research organization / consultancy.
+ 3 or more years of demonstrated people leadership experience, coaching, and leading a diverse team in a highly matrixed organization.
+ Experience conducting research to evaluate the impact of new medical technologies on users/providers/payers. Experience of a range of research methods from design to execution with strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
+ Team oriented: successful experience working in a team environment; collaborative and consultative working style and ability to work effectively with and influence global, multi-disciplinary, virtual teams.
+ Excellent project management skills with strong orientation to detail.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Experience in applying outcomes research to the area of diagnostic imaging and/or medical technologies.
+ People leadership: experience leading and working cross-functionally with global teams.
+ Technical skills: understand and be able to apply a range of research methods such as conducting qualitative or quantitative research, user experience / observational research, literature reviews, economic modelling.
+ Analytical and critical thinking with ability to analyze, synthesize and report on data collected from a variety of sources. Flexibility in research approaches and strong, pragmatic bias for action. Strong MS Excel skills.
+ Ability to develop and communicate deliverables through digital platforms and channels.
+ Self-starter with proactive approach and ability to look at situations from different points of view and consider alternative solutions.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $163,200.00-$244,800.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
