The Mary T Family of Companies is seeking a Director of Healthcare Operations to join our team!
The Director of Healthcare Operations is responsible for overseeing the operations of our healthcare lines of business, including Home Health, Hospice and Outpatient Therapy and Wellness. This position will establish and implement strategies to best support the vision and mission of the organization through the identification of new business opportunities, the management of existing teams, and increasing operating performance. This position requires regulatory knowledge, business knowledge, and administrative skills to foster growth and profitability for each line of business.
JOB DUTIES:
Supervise and direct the operations of our healthcare lines of business, including Home Health, Hospice and Outpatient Therapy. Develop and implement strategies and operational goals that support the strategic direction of The Mary T family of Companies. Create an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to departmental Directors. Identify new business opportunities and establish and implement procedures to achieve growth. Stay abreast of industry trends and demands, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure policies and procedures are maintained, as well as establishing policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision. Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process improvement and/or enhancement. Lead meetings with individual Directors or teams, providing direction and support. Work with other internal teams to ensure collaboration to achieve shared goals. Identify, assess, and inform the supervisor of internal and external issues affecting the organization, specifically regarding the healthcare lines of business supervised.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Healthcare Administration or Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required Master's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration or Management preferredCERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Active RN license in Minnesota, in good standing, preferred but not required Valid driver’s license requiredEXPERIENCE:
Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of leadership and supervision experience in a healthcare setting Sales/Marketing experience preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Strong Leadership skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong financial mindset: budget preparation, financial analysis Strong conflict resolution and problem solving Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of home health, hospice, and outpatient therapy operations Self-driven – work independently Basic math skills Strong computer skills with the ability to become proficient in company software and data systems expeditiously Strong influencing and negotiating skills Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
